History
The Dash Group is family-owned, with roots dating back to 1925 when Percy Dale began retailing newspapers in the small village of Chacewater just outside Truro in Cornwall. During the early 1980’s the business expanded considerably when Chris Dash won the first seven day a week newspaper distribution contract with News International, publishers of The Sun and Times. From 2009 to 2014 the business supplied over 1,500 retail stores across the south west as the only remaining independent newspaper wholesaler on the UK mainland.
The Future
Now approaching its ninth decade of family ownership, the business is headed by brothers Stephen and Paul and continues to diversify into new and exciting areas.
